Loring Park Community Arts Center
Built in 1906. Renovated in 2003, Miller Dunwiddle Architects. Mission Revival style. According to “AIA Guide to the Twin Cities” by Larry Millett, it was saved from demolition by neighborhood activists in the 1970s.
Did you know you can get married (or host some other party) there pretty inexpensively (as weddings go)? Plus my friend Diane runs the park and she’s awesome.
